As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental delays and determine necessary interventions.
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) by working collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitoring child progress and outcomes through regular follow-ups, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal development.
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, sharing strategies and resources to help enhance their child’s development.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and natural learning environment strategies that promote skills acquisition in social, emotional, cognitive, and communicative domains.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, maintaining high standards of care.

Your primary focus will be on young children, particularly those aged birth to three years, who are experiencing delays or disabilities. Working closely with their families, you will support them in overcoming challenges, fostering growth, and promoting their child’s learning in familiar settings. The importance of your role cannot be overstated, as early intervention can significantly alter the course of development for these vulnerable populations.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Current licensure as an LCSW by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license to facilitate any necessary travel for in-home assessments or meetings.
• Strong adaptability to implement individualized treatment plans according to various learning styles and family preferences.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a caseload.
