Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions through our secure online platform, adapting your approach to suit the unique needs of each client.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the specific issues and cultural backgrounds of your clients.
• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, which is crucial for tracking progress and fulfilling legal obligations.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive, multi-faceted care.
• Staying current with best practices, ethical standards, and legal guidelines relevant to mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including adolescents and adults facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to relate to clients from varied backgrounds will be essential in providing effective therapy and helping them navigate through their difficulties.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• An active state licensure as a mental health therapist, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Proven experience in providing individual therapy, with a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in using technology to facilitate remote counseling sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:

• Specialized certifications in therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting or with a focus on technology-enabled care.
• A background in program development or community outreach related to mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits
