Baer is looking for SAP Transportation Management LMD S4HANA Consultant for a 3+ month remote project.

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months - 20 Hours Per Week
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP TM / SAP Last Mile Delivery (LMD) S/4HANA Consultant to support transportation and delivery operations within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The consultant will lead the transition from SAP Direct Store Delivery (DSD) to SAP Last Mile Delivery (LMD), configure transportation processes, gather business requirements, and provide testing, training, and post-go-live support.
Description:
  • Configure and support SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Last Mile Delivery (LMD) in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Lead DSD to LMD migration and optimize transportation and delivery processes.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Support route planning, delivery execution, scheduling, and logistics operations.
  • Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and documentation.
  • Conduct SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support.
  • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues.
  • Deliver user training and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of SAP Functional consulting experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP Last Mile Delivery (LMD), and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Direct Store Delivery (DSD) migration to LMD.
  • Knowledge of transportation planning, route execution, delivery management, and logistics processes.
  • Experience in configuration, testing, integration, and production support.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage or distribution industry.
  • Knowledge of mobile delivery solutions, proof of delivery, route optimization, and transportation planning.
  • Experience integrating SAP TM/LMD with third-party logistics or mobile applications.
