What is remote last mile delivery?

Remote last mile delivery refers to the process of delivering goods to customers in remote or hard-to-reach locations, typically as the final step in the supply chain. This job often involves coordinating logistics, using specialized vehicles or even drones, and overcoming challenges like poor infrastructure or long distances. The goal is to ensure packages reach customers efficiently and safely, even in areas where traditional delivery methods may not be practical. Technology and route optimization play a significant role in making remote last mile delivery possible.
