Salary:

US-Based Interpreter (Onsite & VRI Opportunities)

We are currently seeking qualified US-based interpreters for both Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Onsite assignments.

We are actively recruiting interpreters for the following languages:

  • Spanish
  • Vietnamese
  • Korean
  • Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Chinese (Cantonese)
  • Hindi
  • Urdu
  • Arabic
  • Tagalog/Filipino
  • Burmese
  • Khmer (Cambodian)
  • American Sign Language (ASL)

As an interpreter, you will provide language support in a variety of settings, including medical, educational, and community environments, helping individuals communicate effectively and advocate for their needs.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional interpretation experience
  • Ability to effectively interpret between English and the target language and vice versa
  • Strong understanding of interpreter ethics and confidentiality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Experience in medical interpretation is preferred

Onsite Interpreter Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to attend scheduled assignments
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to travel within the assigned service area

VRI Requirements

  • Computer or Laptop
  • Windows 10 or higher (or equivalent operating system)
  • Stable wired internet connection
  • Minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
  • Webcam
  • USB wired headset
  • Professional workspace free from distractions
  • Solid-color backdrop preferred (royal blue, charcoal, or bright green)

Preferred Certifications

  • Medical Interpreter Training Certificate
  • CCHI, NBCMI, ALTA, BEI, RID, or equivalent certification (when applicable)
  • HIPAA Training Certificate
