This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a connection with our outpatient office in Elizabeth. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments that involve gathering detailed patient histories and identifying the individual needs of clients to create customized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring clients' rights and privacy are upheld.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide holistic care approaches and integrated treatment plans.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing the quality of care delivered to clients.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and how to access community support services.
• Stay informed on current research trends and advancements in mental health to continually improve therapeutic techniques and approaches.

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with children and adolescents, addressing a range of issues such as trauma, anxiety disorders, behavioral problems, and mood disorders. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help guide these young individuals towards healthier lifestyles and emotional resilience, as you provide a space for them to express their thoughts and feelings freely.

• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within New Jersey.
• Demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused therapy techniques effectively, tailoring approaches based on the unique needs of clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills complemented by critical thinking abilities to navigate complex client scenarios.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in outpatient or community mental health settings is highly valued.
