We are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive growth with a primary focus on a specific medical and healthcare customer This role requires a strong blend of technical aptitude and strategic account management. The ideal candidate brings experience selling embedded computing and industrial PC solutions into complex, system-level applications and understands the importance of quality, reliability, and long product lifecycles. Previous medical device clinical experience is a huge plus Acting as a trusted advisor, the Key Account Manager will guide customers from early design discussions through validation, production, and ongoing lifecycle support.   Responsibilities:
    \t
  • Develop and execute strategic sales objectives across medical and adjacent industrial verticals, with a primary focus on medical OEMs and regulated technology environments.

  • Build and maintain long-term, consultative relationships with customers, channel partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • \t
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, representing Advantech in technical, commercial, and strategic discussions.

  • Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and production release.
  • \t
  • Leverage domain knowledge in embedded computing, industrial PCs, and system-level architectures to create competitive advantage.

  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements, long product lifecycles, and compliance considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting medical, industrial, or other regulated markets preferred, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of embedded systems and IPC platforms used in mission-critical or long-lifecycle applications.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative, customer-focused approach.

  • Ability to manage opportunities independently and work effectively in a remote or home-office environment.

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented professional with strong accountability and time management skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
