Paradigm is seeking a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist to support our client with complex Legal Services data projects. This role is ideal for a senior SQL professional with advanced T-SQL development, strong analytical problem-solving skills, experience working with large data sets, and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to business stakeholders.

As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist you will:

  • Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems
  • Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets
  • Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements
  • Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project
  • Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
  • Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles


Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:

  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases
  • Advanced or expert-level experience developing T-SQL code
  • Strong experience tuning T-SQL queries and optimizing database server performance
  • Experience performing complex data analysis on large data sets
  • 5+ years of experience leading the development of technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through under-defined problems
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet business needs
  • Excellent communication skills with peers, managers, and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable in consultative conversations and able to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
