A Remote Junior SQL Developer is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing databases using SQL (Structured Query Language) while working from a remote location. Their tasks typically include writing and maintaining SQL queries, assisting with database design, performing data analysis, and supporting senior developers in various database projects. They often collaborate with other team members online to ensure that data is stored securely, efficiently, and is easily accessible for applications and business needs. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, solution designs, business rules, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze and validate data to support requirements gathering, metric definition, data quality, reconciliation, and business acceptance.
  • Test solutions and validate outputs before implementation.
  • Troubleshoot reporting, data integration, scheduled-job, and production data issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, data mappings, lineage, procedures, and support documentation.
