Tranquility Therapy Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. This remote position allows you to work in a flexible environment while engaging with clients through telehealth sessions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health status, including developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implementing effective therapy techniques in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
• Maintaining regular follow-ups with clients and providing resources and coping strategies to help them navigate their challenges.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care and referrals as needed.
• Documenting progress in EHR systems to ensure accurate records and continuity of care.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and remaining current with best practices in mental health treatment.

You will primarily work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health issues. This role requires a commitment to understanding cultural differences and providing care that is both respectful and relevant. Your expertise will empower clients to gain insight into their conditions and support them as they work toward recovery and improved mental health.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid state license such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and best practices in cultural competence.
