Tranquility Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, establishing a therapeutic relationship while maintaining a warm, professional environment.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices that accommodate each client's unique circumstances and preferences.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities to meet diverse client needs, helping them develop coping strategies and tools for managing their mental health.
  • Regularly revisiting and modifying treatment plans based on clients' progress, ensuring that each individual receives the necessary support to navigate their mental health journey.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to provide holistic care and address any co-occurring substance-use issues.
  • Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document progress notes, treatment plans, and other essential client information accurately and efficiently.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a variety of clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse. Our diverse clientele may include individuals from varying backgrounds, ethnicities, and ages, thus cultural competence is an essential competency for our therapists. Understanding the unique social and cultural contexts of clients is critical in delivering effective and responsive care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive and inclusive methodologies.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills with a proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with a diverse range of clients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records systems and various computer applications essential for documentation and client management.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical guidelines, and ensuring client confidentiality.
Compensation and Benefits
