Job description

About Fluidstack
We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built - but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it.
We're singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them - with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI.
We hire people who care deeply about this problem space. If that is you, please apply!
How We Operate
  • High ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
  • Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
  • First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
  • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Supply Chain Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
  • Supply 10GW of compute, the largest build out of compute in history. Qualify and dual-source across every critical equipment category, with lead-time and capacity thresholds tied directly to the forward build pipeline.
  • Make supply chain the reason we build faster than anyone. Our modular build redefines speed in this industry, and it lives or dies on supply chain. Keep procurement permanently off the critical path so schedule compression stays our advantage, not our constraint.
  • Build the most accurate supply chain prediction modelling that exists. Use the frontier of AI to forecast lead times, demand, and disruption with a precision the industry has never had, and turn that foresight into a structural edge.
Role Scope
  • Own the full inventory control function across all material categories, keeping the right material in the right quantities at the right time relative to operational need and warehouse capacity.
  • Own and run a consistent cycle counting program, and maintain accurate records across WMS and IMS, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Build a deep understanding of consumption rates and lead times, and set min/max thresholds with auto-replenishment logic aligned to demand.
  • Identify aging and slow-moving material and enforce FIFO to reduce waste and improve material flow.
  • Anticipate inventory risks, both depletion and overstock, and build mitigation strategies before they hit operations.
  • Partner with operations and warehousing to align inventory decisions with real consumption, and build the frameworks that make inventory management predictable and scalable.
What We're Looking For
The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
  • You've owned an inventory control function and built the systems behind it, not just executed counts.
  • You work fluently in WMS and IMS platforms and you've driven inventory accuracy through cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
  • You set replenishment logic from real consumption and lead-time data, and you manage both depletion and overstock risk proactively.
  • You've implemented FIFO and aging-material controls in a physical warehouse environment.
  • You build frameworks that scale, so inventory management gets more predictable as volume grows.
  • Bonus: Data center, manufacturing, or high-volume hardware environments. WMS/IMS implementation or configuration. Demand forecasting. Rapid-scale operations.
Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package (salary + equity).
  • Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous PTO policy, in line with local norms.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
