PurposeThe purpose of the Inventory Manager role at TIE is to ensure the effective management of all semiconductor-related inventory activities, including spare parts, raw materials, and production supplies to support business efficiency and cost control. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, expiration management, and optimal inventory levels, while collaborating with procurement, manufacturing, and receiving teams to streamline inventory processes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and systems for semiconductor equipment, parts, and commodities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment with the Procurement Department.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure semiconductor-related inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and storage of goods.
- Manage material expiration dates and apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices based on commodity type.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Train and supervise inventory staff as needed.
- Other related functions as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in inventory management
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems (e.g., Warehouse Management Systems - WMS)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications- Five years of experience in inventory management.
- Experience in setting up a new customer or support customer onboarding process
