Together we are on a mission to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable.

We are a global community that cares for one another. We believe that the way we work is as important as the results we achieve. We provide professional excellence with joy and celebration to all those we serve.

The Need

For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM's Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Vice President, Data & Insights to serve as the North America Region's chief data and fundraising analytics leader, providing enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and insights to drive fundraising growth and performance.

  • Lead advanced marketing and fundraising analytics to optimize donor acquisition, retention, upgrade, and net revenue across channels including digital, direct mail, events, and major gifts;

  • Design and implement segmentation, predictive modeling, and personalization strategies to enhance donor engagement and return on investment;

  • Deliver actionable insights on campaign performance, audience behavior, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions;

  • Establish standard reporting and dashboards that enable consistent evaluation across fundraising programs and alignment with industry best practices;

  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned with marketing and fundraising objectives;

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform executive and operational decision-making;

  • Oversee the organization's data ecosystem, including Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, data warehouses, and analytics tools;

  • Establish and maintain best practices in data governance, data quality, privacy, and compliance;

  • Partner with Global Technology Solutions (GTS) and external vendors to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated data solutions;

  • Evaluate and implement emerging tools in data science, AI, and marketing technology to enhance fundraising performance;

  • Drive experimentation and A/B testing across campaigns and channels;

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Data & Insights team encompassing business intelligence and analytics, data science and systems, gift processing, and data quality;

  • Invest in team development, diversity, continuous learning, and effective cross-functional collaboration;

  • Manage the Data & Insights budget and contribute to North America regional leadership strategy;

  • Ensure CRM data integrity and compliance in alignment with finance requirements, annual audit standards, and US and Canada statutory regulations;

  • Optimize gift processing protocols, forecasting, and budget processes to ensure accurate and reliable projections;

  • Interview, hire, onboard, and coach staff while coordinating team workload, priorities, and delivery;

  • Participate in IJM's community of spiritual formation.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;

  • At least 12 years of progressive professional experience, ideally in nonprofit advancement with a background in fundraising analytics, reporting, and prospect development;
