Responsibilities:
The Targeting Analystย Develops targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non lethal engagements. Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products. Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements. Conducts collateral damage estimation, performs target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements. Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations. Provides database nominations, creates and updates database and uploads TMs into databases.
Requiredย qualifications/skills:
Education/Experience:
  • MA or MS in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 6 years CURRENT Intelligence Analysis experience;ย OR
  • BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND at least 8 years of Intelligence Analysis experience;ย OR
  • HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 12 years of Intelligence Analysis experience.

Qualifications:
ย 
  • Relevant experience should be in the field of remote sensing, Geospatial analysis, all-source analysis.
  • Experience should include at least 5 years working supporting the Joint targeting cycle
  • Understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and supporting intelligence analytic techniques; Understanding of Intelligence Support /Role in the MDMP
  • Expert level research and writing skills
  • Expert knowledge of GEOINT software including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, DIEE, or ArcGIS
  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques
  • Experience in overseeing and executing target development standard as defined in JP 3-60 and CJCSI 3370.01D.
  • Training and expert knowledge in basic, intermediate, and advanced target development.
  • Current/active TS/SCI clearance

  • GPC-II Imagery Certification
  • Experience with commercial visualization software
  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools.
  • Experience presenting at community forums and symposiums
  • Completion of related Army (or service equivalent) 35/350G, 12Y/125D, or 35F/350F military occupational specialty school
