About You 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design/Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Professional licensure (NCIDQ) is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of job-related design experience required.
  • Previous experience in Work Place/ commercial interior design, preferably within an architectural firm, is required.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of building codes, Site analysis, preliminary design studies, and contract documents
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Lumion, and other modeling software such as Grasshopper and Rhino.

We are seeking an Interior Designer with experience leading design teams for Life and Work Places projects, initially including a major end-user Headquarters project in the Southeast.

About the Role

As an Interior Designer, you will:

  • Contributes to project visioning and design ideation by actively participating in design charettes, generating conceptual studies, plans, renderings, and refining ideas to meet client goals.
  • Assist in holistic design development and documentation from concept through construction administration, including programming, space planning, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams and building systems.
  • Demonstrate growing knowledge of project scope, budgets, deliverables, applicable codes, sustainable design principles, and project delivery methods while applying this knowledge appropriately with oversight.
  • Creates and communicates visual representations and presentations effectively to clients, consultants, and team members using timely written, oral, and visual methods.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks by managing priorities, timelines, and meeting deliverable deadlines to maintain project schedules, while proactively communicating within the team.
  • Support technical development by collaborating on complex construction details, researching materials, analyzing product options, and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Strives for continuous learning and improvement, actively participates in design reviews, and contributes creative design solutions to enhance project success and align with firm goals. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Environmental Analysis software such as Ladybug and Cove tool
  • REVIT Experience or familiarity with software.
  • Experience with physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting
  • Experience with presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
