What is a Remote Intelligence job?

A Remote Intelligence job involves analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data relevant to national security, business, or other sectors, while working from a location outside a traditional office, often from home or another remote location. These roles often involve tasks like monitoring digital communications, reviewing satellite imagery, or assessing open-source information to provide actionable insights. Remote Intelligence professionals may work for government agencies, private companies, or consulting firms. This job requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and often a background in security, technology, or data analysis.

To thrive as a Remote Intelligence Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a background in intelligence studies, international relations, or a related field. Familiarity with intelligence analysis software, data mining tools, and secure communication systems is typically required, along with relevant certifications like Security+ or Certified Intelligence Analyst. Excellent written communication, critical thinking, and discretion are crucial soft skills for interpreting data and sharing insights securely. These skills enable effective remote assessment of complex information, ensuring timely and accurate intelligence support for decision-makers.

How does working in a Remote Intelligence role typically impact collaboration and communication with team members?

In a Remote Intelligence position, effective collaboration and communication are essential, given that team members often work across different locations and time zones. Who We Are Looking For
The Protective Intelligence Center (PIC) supports Crisis24's Private Strategic Group (PSG) fulfilling a critical mission: We aim to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate threats and hazards to our Principals and client enterprises, and the respective Crisis24 Agents and Analysts who keep them safe. The PIC leverages advanced technology, all-source intelligence, and internal subject matter experts to provide timely, accurate and actionable intelligence.
We are looking for mission driven people with diverse skillsets who can make our program even more capable; people who can think critically and creatively under high-stress conditions. Our team is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of intelligence professionals with an innate desire to protect and help others. We strive for professional excellence, intellectual humility, and poise under pressure.
What You Will Work On
In your role as an Analyst, Protective Intelligence, you will be responsible for triaging, reporting, and monitoring as it relates to new or emerging security incidents with the potential to impact Crisis24 PSG's assets. In your role you may also be asked to proactively identify, track and assess known and emerging risks, provide incident response & triage, travel risk support, security assessments, online research and investigations. You will also receive training on investigative and threat assessment techniques and best practices in furtherance of the PIC's protective mission.

You will also be responsible for fielding operational and logistical requests for information (RFIs) to facilitate ad-hoc secure transport and executive protection workflows. This position will primarily operate during U.S. Eastern time zone business hours (08:00 - 16:10 ET), covering consistent shifts Monday through Friday. The role will also help provide coverage for open shifts if needed during holiday, nighttime, or weekend coverage.
Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with the rest of the PIC in a largely virtual capacity. Regular weekend shift work will be required. On a day-to-day basis, you will most frequently interact with the Protective Intelligence Analysts on shift with you, along with any Lead Analysts, Manager or Director who may be working at the time (contingent upon time of day). There is shift turnover at the start and end of every shift, as well as daily standup meetings with internal PIC leadership Monday through Friday.
