RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director, Data Intelligence in West Palm Beach, FL.
Summary:
The Director of Data Intelligence will lead the enterprise Data Intelligence function within the Technology organization, bringing together Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Reporting, Dashboard Development, Data Science, Predictive Modeling, and AI-enabled Analytics into a unified team focused on transforming trusted company data into actionable insights and scalable analytics products.
This leader will strengthen the organization's ability to leverage data to improve business performance, decision-making, operational execution, customer experience, revenue management, marketing effectiveness, investment analysis, and enterprise planning. The Director will be responsible for ensuring alignment across data preparation, metric definition, analytical modeling, reporting, and business insight generation while establishing a scalable and high-performing analytics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and execute the vision, operating model, roadmap, and delivery standards for the Data Intelligence organization, aligned with Technology and business priorities
* Partner with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to identify high-value analytics opportunities and translate business needs into actionable data products
* Develop and maintain clear communication with leadership regarding roadmap progress, analytical findings, risks, dependencies, recommendations, and business impacts
* Foster a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, continuous improvement, documentation, knowledge sharing, and measurable business outcomes
* Oversee the development of reusable data assets, semantic models, curated datasets, dashboards, reports, analytical models, and self-service analytics capabilities
* Drive consistency in business metrics, reporting definitions, analytical standards, and executive performance measurement
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 5+ years of progressive experience in: Analytics; Business Intelligence; Data Science; Analytics Engineering; Data Products; Data Strategy; Related Technology disciplines
* 5+ years of leadership experience managing analytics, BI, reporting, data science, data product, or related technical teams
Technical & Functional Expertise:
* Demonstrated success integrating Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science into a cohesive delivery model
* Strong understanding of: Data modeling; Metric definitions; Semantic layers; Reporting platforms; Dashboard design principles; Self-service analytics enablement
* Experience leading: Reporting modernization initiatives; Dashboard delivery programs; Report rationalization efforts; Migrations to scalable BI platforms (e.g., Power BI)
* Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize investments and communicate analytical outcomes
* Working knowledge of: Data Science methodologies; Predictive analytics; Machine learning; AI-enabled analytics; Model evaluation techniques
* Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including: Data ownership; Stewardship; Data quality; Lineage; Accountability; Business adoption
* Proficiency with: SQL; Data visualization platforms; Cloud and enterprise data platforms; Modern analytics development practices; Data lifecycle management concepts
* Ability to translate business needs into: Analytical roadmaps; Data products; Dashboards; Insights and recommendations that drive measurable results
Leadership Competencies:

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and lead organizational change
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
