They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire a "Business Intelligence Analyst". This role will be based out of Newark, NJ, and this could be 100% Remote
Position Description:
The client is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Member Analytics team!
The successful candidate will help support client's marketing and product teams in evaluating retention and engagement trends, targeting sustainable growth and incremental, long-term measurable value. The Analyst will work with a wide variety of stakeholders as a thought-partner and help guide their decision-making using data as their north star. They will leverage datasets from across the company and utilize analytics skills (including SQL, Excel, and Tableau) to produce critical dashboards, one-off reports, and presentations. The analyst will be ultimately responsible for translating data capturing customer behavior into agile, insightful analytics that are communicated clearly and effectively, and lead to optimal marketing and product actions and scalable long-term strategies.
As part of the role's primary responsibilities, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to:
  • Partner with stakeholders as a strategic collaborator by owning business intelligence analyses end-to-end, providing business partners with timely, relevant insights, scenarios, and recommendations, and democratizing results via internal intelligence platforms for long-term use.
  • Produce tangible, actionable insights and work with senior marketing and product leaders to guide roadmaps and business strategy at both holistic and granular levels, with a focus on improving retention and listening results.
  • Build dashboards and scorecards that enable leaders to understand and act upon data to create and iterate on various marketing tactics and product feature development.
  • Manage a portfolio of highly consumable competitive intelligence assets (e.g., dashboards, papers, presentations, datasets) that can be used strategically across stakeholder and analyst groups and find opportunities to enhance that portfolio based on stakeholder needs and feedback.
  • Analyze the results of A/B tests across different client's surfaces, provide recommendations based on testing results, and deep-dive into observed customer behavior to develop new hypotheses for continuous testing-and-learning.
  • Leverage analytical methodologies to measure and present the incremental impact of marketing tactics including save offers, outbound and inbound campaigns, and product launches.
  • Develop Amazon-scale data pipelines.
  • Imagine and invent before the business asks, and create groundbreaking solutions using cutting-edge approaches.
  • Contribute to the growth of the client's Insights Org by sharing and developing ideas and learning from others.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • Passion for data and insights, curiosity, and resourcefulness
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field

  • Knowledge of A/B testing, statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared) and modeling
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Domain expertise in subscription services, growth marketing, retention or engagement analytics, etc. strongly preferred
