The program will engage 17 mentors and 6 interdisciplinary co-mentors. Over 10 research centers/institutes/departments have agreed to collaborate, making this a fully interdisciplinary training program focused on advancing methodological expertise in nursing science through innovative data science and health information technology approaches.

Trainees will be engaged in research activities, research training seminars, interdisciplinary research, preparation of grants, scientific manuscripts, and reports, and work closely with a mentor. The initial appointment is for one year, renewal is expected if progress is satisfactory and funds are available.
