This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our integrated care team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have access to advanced telehealth technologies, enabling you to conduct assessments and therapy sessions efficiently. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, focusing on the impact of medical conditions on patients' psychological well-being.

• Design and implement integrated treatment plans addressing both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring collaboration with other medical professionals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

• Educate patients on the interconnection between mental health and physical wellness, empowering them to take charge of their health.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning sessions to enhance collaborative care.

• Stay current with relevant research and advancements in integrated care to provide the highest standard of care to our patients.

The patients you will serve at Prestige Family Healthcare Clinic primarily include individuals with complex medical and psychiatric needs, such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. You will have the unique opportunity to work alongside medical professionals to develop treatment plans that address these co-occurring conditions, enhancing both mental and physical health outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing the mental health needs of individuals experiencing comorbid medical conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Knowledge of electronic health records and telehealth software to facilitate seamless patient interactions.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines in all aspects of work.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a community health or integrated care setting.

• Experience collaborating with medical professionals to deliver integrated care methodologies.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions proven effective for varied patient demographics.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
