• Conduct thorough initial assessments for identified students, evaluating their strengths, challenges, and individual needs, while ensuring accurate intake documentation is maintained.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions that best align with the unique needs of each client.
• Identify and apply specific psychological strategies that support students in achieving personal and academic goals.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, focusing on enhancing relationships and addressing emotional concerns.
• Offer vocational and experiential coaching to foster career readiness and life skills development among students.
• Collaborate with community resources and referral services to ensure comprehensive care coordination for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention support as needed, documenting responses and outcomes to ensure timely follow-up.
• Offer telephonic assistance to families and clients, providing ongoing support and guidance between scheduled sessions.
• Maintain professional licensing and adhere to relevant ethical standards for clinical practice within the state of Pennsylvania.
• Engage with treatment team members ensuring open communication regarding student progress and presenting challenges.

This position predominantly serves school-aged children and adolescents facing various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. As an LCSW, you will work closely with students who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, family issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. You will play an essential role in connecting with young clients, helping them navigate the complexities of their developmental stage within an educational context.

• A valid Pennsylvania license as a Clinical Social Worker is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and presentation skills is required to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are vital for developing rapport and conveying therapeutic concepts.
• A proven ability to utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and enhance treatment effectiveness.

While a minimum of two years in a related field is required, additional experience in school-based settings, adolescent therapy, or crisis intervention is especially valued. Familiarity with various therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Trauma-Informed Care, will support your effectiveness in this role.
