• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments via telehealth platforms to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses, employing tools like standardized screening measures and interviews to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individualized short-term counseling sessions and crisis intervention services tailored to address a spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops aimed at fostering collective healing and personal growth amongst clients, covering topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and emotional intelligence.
• Collaborate effectively with community partners, including educational institutions and social organizations, to ensure holistic support for clients, enhancing their access to resources and comprehensive mental health care.
• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives, such as mental health awareness campaigns and wellness workshops, to destigmatize mental health issues and promote community well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to ethical guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure the integrity of client information.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients in need of mental health support, including adolescents, adults, and families. Understanding the unique challenges they face in their daily lives is crucial for providing effective care. As you engage with clients, your approach will center on inclusivity and cultural competence, ensuring that your services meet the broad spectrum of human experiences.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.
• A strong understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by various populations, fostering the capacity to adapt your methods accordingly.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with other mental health professionals.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices, and proficiency in utilizing brief therapy models that suit the virtual counseling environment.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client engagement techniques.
• Experience working particularly with transitional age youth or college-aged individuals is a plus, allowing for a deeper understanding of their specific mental health needs.
