• Manage an assigned caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering positive relationships while adhering to professional ethics.
• Conduct regular sessions to evaluate therapeutic progress and provide support as clients approach stability or prepare for discharge.
• Craft, execute, and oversee individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's distinct needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to effectively identify client needs and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly, focusing on evidence-based practices to create impactful outcomes.
• Engage in individual supervision to enhance personal and professional development.
• Collaborate extensively with other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.
• Uphold a growth mindset, actively seeking opportunities for learning and improvement in practice.

Your work will primarily focus on outpatient adult and youth populations, requiring the ability to meet diverse clinical needs with sensitivity and professionalism. The individual to family-driven approach ensures equitable access to mental health resources and promotes empowerment through active participation in therapy.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Must be a currently licensed, unrestricted, independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficiency in computer use, including RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and email platforms (e.g., Outlook, PIMSY) is required.

• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to both individuals and families.
• Prior experience completing comprehensive intake assessments and treatment planning.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model ensures that you are compensated fairly and promptly, with guaranteed rates paid ahead of collections. Beneficial aspects of the position include:
