Paragon Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in remote full-time roles. As a remote position within our outpatient facility, this role provides the flexibility to work from home while remaining tightly integrated with our team through virtual collaboration tools. You will be working within defined hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some scheduling flexibility may be necessary based on patient engagements and treatment planning. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments through in-depth interviews and standardized screening tools to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy in one-on-one and group settings.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, providing a safe space for patients to share experiences and cultivate a sense of community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure holistic patient care that addresses all aspects of mental health.
• Respond swiftly to mental health crises, providing interim support and stabilization to patients in need.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources, empowering them to take charge of their health.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment methodologies, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Our patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. As a Mental Health Counselor at Paragon Behavioral Health Center, you will work closely with clients who experience a range of mental health issues. This role requires a strong commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity to meet the unique needs of each patient, fostering an inclusive environment that promotes recovery and resilience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position. A Master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant field is preferred.
• Current licensure in Maryland as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities, with demonstrated experience in clinical environments.
• Proven ability to develop effective treatment plans and deliver therapeutic services to diverse populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential for effective patient engagement and teamwork.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is necessary for documentation and scheduling.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and professional boundaries.

• Experience working in remote therapy settings and utilizing telehealth platforms is a plus.
• Experience with group therapy and facilitation skills to effectively manage dynamic group interactions.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention and emergency mental health services.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
