• Conduct comprehensive individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using telehealth platforms to ensure accessibility while fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized treatment plans based on thorough clinical assessments and client feedback.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques to address clients' unique mental health needs.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to meet practice standards and statutory requirements.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, best practices, and legal regulations governing mental health practice.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Freeman Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Clients will range in age from children to adults, each presenting different challenges related to anxiety, trauma, depression, and other mental health issues. Your ability to offer culturally sensitive and inclusive care will be paramount in creating an environment where clients feel secure and understood.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Active LPC state licensure, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations regarding practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience working effectively with children, adults, and families in a therapeutic capacity.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Proven capacity to work independently while fostering collaborative relationships with peers.
• A strong commitment to providing inclusive and culturally competent care to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

• Experience in using telehealth services to conduct therapy sessions effectively.
• Familiarity with administrative details related to mental health therapy, including insurance documentation and billing procedures.
• Advanced skills in specific therapeutic modalities tailored to the client demographic served.
