Position Summary:
The role of the Manager-Implementations will manage and coordinate the execution of implementation team projects for Penske Logistics. Specific responsibilities include formalization and active management of project plans, clarifying timelines, milestones, goals and ownership, identifying and leading process improvement/centralization, technology implementation, and training activities. Such efforts will require cross-function involvement with TSS, Logistics Technology, Operations, Safety, Finance, and Human Resources. Will lead regular meetings to ensure effectiveness of plan, cost implications and compliance.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Travel: 30-40%
Major Responsibilities:
• Overall project management

• Leads cross-functional team meetings
• Other projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a logistics, operations, or supply chain environment required
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a project management role preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Penske Logistics' business practices and functional expertise within the Product Line.
• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
• Intermediate knowledge in project management programs such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
• Knowledge in process improvement, change management and supply chain functions
• Intermediate knowledge of Financial literacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Independent problem-solving and decision making
• Ability to translate goals to project team
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
