Position Title: Food Service General Manager
Location: Elizabethtown Area School District, Elizabethtown PA
Now seeking a talented Food Service General Manager to lead our AMAZING Dining Services Team in a busy K-12 setting. Enjoy a work/life balance Monday-Friday daylight in a fast-paced setting. Must have a solid background in institutional dining such as school, hospital, senior living, or college. Culinary background is a very strong plus!
Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.
The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.
