Job Description

We are seeking a Dynatrace Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Dynatrace platform deployment, configuration, integrations, and automation and a proven ability to implement end-to-end observability and enable actionable monitoring use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure Dynatrace (SaaS and Managed) across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Install and configure OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Dynatrace extensions.
  • Enable and configure APM, infrastructure and host monitoring, Kubernetes and container observability, Digital Experience Monitoring (RUM and Synthetic), and Log Monitoring.
  • Validate successful rollouts and resolve deployment issues.
  • Configure services, processes, dashboards, alerts, and management zones aligned to application and operational needs.
  • Implement monitoring for critical business applications, services, and infrastructure using Davis® AI and best-practice thresholds.
  • Support customer-specific use cases including availability monitoring, performance diagnostics, and proactive alerting.
  • Configure and support integrations with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Leverage Dynatrace APIs, automation workflows, and scripts to reduce manual effort and support auto-remediation and event-driven monitoring.
  • Create and maintain implementation guides, runbooks, onboarding documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and enablement to operations and application teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience implementing Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with APM, infrastructure monitoring, Kubernetes observability, DEM, and log monitoring.
  • Hands-on skills with OneAgent, ActiveGate, Dynatrace extensions, APIs, and automation workflows or scripting.
  • Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM, CI/CD, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Strong communication and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of application and infrastructure design patterns in traditional and cloud environments.
  • Dynatrace Associate, Implementation, or Administration certification.
  • Canadian permanent resident or citizen.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with automation for auto-remediation and event-driven operations.
