• Conduct remote counseling sessions with clients using secure video conferencing technology, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, developing personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals tailored to their specific situations.
• Employ evidence-based counseling techniques to address a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues, ensuring that each intervention aligns with best practices in mental health care.
• Proactively manage crisis situations by providing immediate support to clients, evaluating risks, and executing intervention strategies to ensure their safety and improve their mental health outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in line with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, helping them develop effective coping strategies and connecting them with additional resources to enhance their self-management skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, referring providers, and local community resources to ensure clients receive well-rounded care that addresses their diverse needs.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Heal Space, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. This role requires sensitivity to various backgrounds and experiences, as you strive to provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and growth for every client.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state or the area of practice.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience demonstrating clinical competence in mental health counseling.
• Experience in providing counseling services, specifically in a remote or online format, is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport and effectively engaging with clients.
• Familiarity with telehealth and counseling software tools to facilitate seamless client interactions.
• A commitment to ethical practices in counseling, with a strong focus on confidentiality.

Heal Space Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year.
