Job description

Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to 92 Force Support Squadron, NAF Human Resources Office, Fairchild AFB, WA.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide clerical support and perform routine administrative tasks to assist HR Assistants and HR Specialists assigned to the NAF personnel office.
This is a Flexible (Intermittent) position; Guaranteed 0 hrs per week, may work up to 40 hours per week; depending on the needs of the facility

Duties
Help
Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, sorting and distributing the mail, and providing routine support tasks within the NAF HR office. Performs records management tasks/responsibilities. Drafts outgoing correspondence. Operates a personal computer and office software programs to enter data, complete forms, and to assist applicants in applying for vacancies. Utilizes automated office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, or equivalent) in accomplishment of tasks. Makes copies, scans documents, uploads and files documents for casefile or recordkeeping purposes. Provides general information regarding position vacancies, application procedures, status on vacancies and requests, etc. May assist in providing recruitment and placement service to Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) activities. Refers inquiries about specific issues or actions to the appropriate assistant or specialist. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
This is an entry level position therefore no minimum qualifications are required.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
