Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions tailored for both individuals and groups, ensuring therapeutic interventions are effective and client-centered.
  • Develop, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans that reflect individual client needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate proactively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and chaplains, to provide comprehensive emotional and psychological support.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practice standards.
  • Deliver diagnostic assessments and documentation to guide treatment plans and measure client progress.
  • Engage with clients’ family members, providing psychoeducation and involvement opportunities to support clients in a holistic manner.
  • Utilize therapeutic techniques and methodologies familiar to social work practice, while remaining adaptable to clients' evolving needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be assisting clients within a hospice setting, where you will engage with patients who may be facing terminal illnesses and their families. Your expertise will help navigate complex emotional challenges, grieving processes, and psychosocial dynamics to enhance the overall quality of care. By providing support during this significant phase of life, you will empower clients to process their experiences and decisions meaningfully.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, particularly in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments and formulating evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport across diverse populations and settings.
  • Strong commitment to cultural competence, ethical practice, and social justice principles in the treatment of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life services will significantly enhance your fit for this role.
  • Background in telehealth services and familiarization with digital health platforms would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated involvement in advocacy or community engagement initiatives within mental health care.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We recognize the importance of work-life balance, offering flexible working hours to accommodate your personal and professional needs. Additional benefits include:
