As we expand, we are building a sophisticated in-house legal function that operates at the intersection of litigation, compliance, and business strategy. About the Role This is a unique opportunity to work directly with General Counsel in a remote role combining commercial litigation and in-house advisory work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both managing litigation matters and advising business teams on legal risk, contracts, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage and support commercial litigation matters, including coordination with outside counsel. Handle pre-litigation disputes, demand responses, and settlement strategy. Draft and review contracts, including vendor agreements, settlement agreements, and commercial contracts. Advise internal teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, Sales) on legal risk and compliance. Assist with employment-related matters, disputes, and internal investigations. Review marketing materials, policies, and communications for regulatory compliance. Conduct legal research and prepare practical, business-oriented guidance. Participate in building scalable legal processes and infrastructure. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; active Florida Bar membership required. 37 years of experience, with meaningful exposure to: Commercial litigation Contract disputes Employment-related matters Marketing compliance review Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to operate both independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Business-minded approach with strong judgment and problem-solving ability.
