Mindful Beginnings Psychotherapy Services is looking for a dedicated and empathetic Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, focusing specifically on supportive therapy within a Hospice Center setting. This role requires an individual who is highly skilled in mental health counseling, as well as knowledgeable about the array of social factors influencing patient health, particularly those at the end-of-life.

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in processing their experiences and emotions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and physicians, to develop individualized treatment plans that address both psychological and social needs.
• Provide timely crisis intervention services, ensuring that all clients receive the emotional and psychological support necessary during critical moments, and make appropriate referrals to additional resources as needed.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all client interactions are accurately logged and accessible as needed for care continuity.
• Engage in ongoing training, participate in clinical discussions, staff meetings, and peer supervision, demonstrating commitment to professional growth and excellence in patient care.

You will work primarily with patients facing critical health challenges in a hospice environment, guiding them and their families through complex emotional landscapes. This role demands a high level of sensitivity, as you will help clients cope with grief, facilitate acceptance, and provide support as they navigate the end-of-life process.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, ideally with exposure to hospice or palliative care settings.
• Proven proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapy models and adapting them to meet the needs of individual clients.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster rapport with diverse populations and work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Experience in working with end-of-life care, bereavement, and family dynamics in stressful situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate accurate documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health counseling.
