Position Overview

The Twin Tower Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mission-driven team as a full-time remote clinician. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support for senior clients in hospice care settings, ensuring they receive comprehensive emotional, psychological, and social assistance during a critical phase of their lives. You will help enhance the quality of life for clients by employing your clinical expertise alongside a deep commitment to compassionate care.

About the Organization

At Twin Tower Counseling Center, our core belief is that mental healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. We strive to empower therapists to build successful, independent practices that serve their communities effectively. Our focus is on creating an environment where both clients and therapists flourish, fostering a healthier and happier nation through accessible mental health services.

Work Environment

This full-time position offers a flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday, enabling you to manage your time efficiently while maintaining a work-life balance. As a remote independent contractor, you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, enhancing your autonomy and allowing for personalized client engagements within a hospice care framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of senior clients to identify their specific needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one counseling and psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients through grief, loss, and psychological adjustments associated with hospice care.
  • Research and become familiar with community resources, advocating for clients by facilitating connections to additional support services.
  • Engage in active listening to build rapport and ensure clients feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
  • Document all client interactions, progress, and treatment plans using electronic health record systems to maintain compliance and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, hospice care staff, and family members, to develop a holistic plan of care that addresses both emotional and physical well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on senior clients receiving hospice care, many of whom may be coping with complex emotional challenges related to their circumstances. This requires not only a strong clinical background but also a profound sense of empathy, patience, and understanding as you assist them and their families during this vital period.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and electronic health record management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively in a fast-paced, remote setting without direct supervision.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with elderly clients and knowledge of geriatric care principles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously while providing high-quality care to each individual.
  • Familiarity with hospice care principles and an understanding of end-of-life issues are highly beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:

  • A flexible, 40-hour work schedule that promotes work-life balance.
  • 401(k) with company matching to help you plan for your financial future.
  • Comprehensive dental insurance and disability coverage.
  • An employee assistance program offering support for personal or work-related challenges.
