### Locums | Hematology & Oncology | Outpatient + Call | Redding, CA (CA License)### Why This Role

  • Long-term Hematology/Oncology coverage with consistent weekday schedule
  • Solo physician leading a well-established outpatient infusion center
  • APP support for patient flow and order management
  • Remote call only after clinic hours and on weekends
  • Ongoing monthly coverage blocks available
  • ### Assignment Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Ongoing coverage
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Remote Call
  • Setting: Outpatient Infusion Center with Hospital Consults
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Weeknight Call: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-8:00 AM (remote)
  • Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM-Monday 8:00 AM (remote)
  • Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day
  • EMR: iKnowMed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
  • Credentialing: Approximately 30-60 days
  • ### Clinical Details
  • Diagnose, stage, and manage hematology and oncology patients
  • Oversee outpatient chemotherapy and infusion services
  • Infusion Center provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood and platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, therapeutic phlebotomy, and rheumatoid arthritis infusions
  • Hospital consults with collaboration alongside the ED physician and hospitalists
  • MD oversight of Oncology/Hematology Clinic and Infusion Center
  • Supported by APP, infusion RNs, clinic RN, MAs, front office staff, and quality/billing personnel
  • ### Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Hematology/Oncology fellowship
  • Active California license
  • DEA
  • ACLS required if requesting moderate sedation privileges
  • Must be actively practicing
  • Current availability required at time of presentation
