• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately determine each client’s mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are not only effective but also align with clients’ individual goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, as well as couples and family counseling, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of diverse client demographics.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to clients and facilitate multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and education to stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in mental health care.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, each presenting unique mental health challenges. You will address a wide array of issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional and behavioral concerns. Your interventions will be rooted in cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the socio-economic factors affecting mental health.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required. Additional education in the field is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a mental health counselor, including qualifications such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport and ensuring effective therapy.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy services in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for mental health treatment, which will be critical in implementing effective therapy sessions.
