• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to better understand their unique mental health needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, tailoring approaches based on the identified needs of each client.
• Handle important administrative tasks, including completing billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner.
• Develop crisis intervention plans and safety plans as required, along with relapse prevention strategies and overall wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stable functioning.
• Create and implement discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition for clients as they progress in their therapy.
• Adhere to all current federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to maintain skills and licensure.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to coordinate care and share insights with colleagues.
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory trainings, staying updated on best practices in mental health therapy.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your focus will be on providing compassionate and effective care, ensuring that treatment plans are adapted to meet the cultural and personal needs of each client. Your contributions will directly impact their emotional well-being and help guide them towards recovery and self-discovery.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure as a mental health therapist.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings, with a focus on individual and family counseling.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt therapeutic techniques to meet unique client needs.
