• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate and analyze clients' mental health concerns, establishing a personalized treatment plan that reflects their unique needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to address specific challenges and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings through structured therapeutic methodologies.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, coordinating care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure an integrative approach to client health.
• Provide education and support to clients’ families, promoting a better understanding of mental health issues and encouraging informed participation in their loved one’s recovery journey.
• Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in strict adherence to regulatory and ethical guidelines.

As a mental health counselor at Mind-body Connection Health Center, you will provide personalized care that respects and acknowledges each client’s unique circumstances and cultural context.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Comprehensive training or significant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid understanding of diverse mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the capacity to establish rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery process.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and promote well-rounded client care.

• Experience working with a diverse client population, showcasing cultural competence in treatment approaches.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and their integration into therapeutic practice, allowing for effective remote therapy sessions.
