Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive mental health screenings to identify client needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans that are customized to target specific mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, both individual and group, employing effective and therapeutic modalities to foster client engagement and progress.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure holistic treatment and optimal client care.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of the mental health challenges faced and promoting active involvement in recovery processes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in strict adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, ensuring client privacy and data protection.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Mind-Body Connection, you will serve a varied and diverse patient population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating knowledge of effective therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for a variety of mental health disorders, committed to lifelong learning and professional growth.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based interventions.
• Experience working in outpatient settings, providing therapy in both individual and group formats.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy conduct.
