Position Overview

Holistic Recovery Counselling is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, in addition to an array of comprehensive benefits. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of our community health clinic. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, giving you a structured schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients through assessments, counseling sessions, and crisis intervention to address and treat various emotional and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate patient progress, needs, and concerns, ensuring a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, including progress notes, in compliance with department protocols and legal standards to enhance care coordination.
• Participate in the development of treatment plans and discharge strategies based on in-depth psychosocial assessments and accepted social work practices.
• Build and nurture connections with local community resource groups, representing Holistic Recovery Counselling at meetings and collaborating on initiatives that address the social needs of our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals from different cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds, emphasizing the need for cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in social work from a recognized institution is required, along with a current License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting is essential, demonstrating expertise in clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions.
• Current associate or licensed status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is necessary.
• Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple cases effectively and adhere to documentation standards.
• A self-motivated attitude with the ability to initiate timely billing processes and thorough documentation is crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

Experience working within a community health setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be an advantage. Additionally, proficiency in various therapeutic modalities will enhance your ability to provide personalized care.
