Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment and crisis intervention plans for clients dealing with various mental health issues.
  • Meet timely documentation requirements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and agency policies.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening and therapeutic techniques, applying the appropriate tools as guided by the clinical team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and implement positive behavior support plans, facilitating holistic approaches to treatment.
  • Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, including state agencies and community partners, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
  • Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, enhancing agency compliance and quality of care.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to promote program visibility and secure potential funding opportunities.
  • Engage in professional development activities including attending conferences, leading community workshops, and participating in professional associations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall goals of the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field is required.
  • Currently possess or be eligible for an Independent LMHC License in the state of Massachusetts. We offer financial assistance for those seeking licensure from another state.
Preferred Experience
