Holistic Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our passionate team. Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Holistic Wellness Center, you will work onsite within a supportive and dynamic rehabilitation facility. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their medical history, physical condition, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect patient goals and best practices in orthopedic care.
  • Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to maximize patient recovery and mobility, adjusting protocols as needed based on progress and feedback.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and document all relevant health updates, ensuring accurate record-keeping compliant with our facility’s standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary consultations when necessary to ensure holistic patient management and appropriate care modifications.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and preventative measures to promote long-term health.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and collaborate on care strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will employ your expertise to guide patients through rehabilitation journeys, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life. By customizing treatment approaches, you will address not only physical impairments but also the psychological aspects related to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher-level degree (such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy).
  • Valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting.
