Beverly Wellness Care is seeking a qualified and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, ensuring to address both pre-crisis and crisis intervention.
• Prepare and complete all required documentation, adhering to regulatory standards while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement and utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating closely with the clinical team to determine the best practices for each client.
• Engage actively in the formation of positive behavior support plans, working collaboratively to promote successful outcomes for clients.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating compliance with governing regulations.
• Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems to enhance client services and outreach.
• Maintain effective communication channels to meet contract standards and further the mission of Beverly Wellness Care.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to advocate for our programs and identify funding opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending conferences, workshops, and actively participating in statewide task forces relevant to mental health.
• Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, philosophy, and principles in every aspect of work.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals struggling with various mental health and substance use issues, as well as those affected by developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that respects the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client, thereby facilitating their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory to qualify for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly with outpatient services, is highly valued.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices in mental health care.
