• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status during initial consultations to accurately identify their needs and challenges.
• Design and implement individualized therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, ensuring clients have the necessary strategies and tools to navigate their mental health journeys.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities to effectively treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals by providing referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical guidelines and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and keep up-to-date with the latest mental health research and treatment approaches.

The counselor will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Our clients are often from varied backgrounds, making cultural competence crucial in delivering effective therapy.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid state license, specifically as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling in a professional setting.
• Proven knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapies.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive methods.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to de-escalate situations effectively and remain calm in high-pressure settings.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote counseling platforms.
