El Centro Behavioral Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed outpatient team. We provide integrated services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients, many of whom are living with co-occurring medical conditions, including autoimmune disorders, chronic pain, and substance use disorders. As a remote therapist at El Centro, you will work within a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our outpatient setting is designed to foster open communication and teamwork, even in a virtual format. Utilizing telehealth technologies, you will engage with patients through secure digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for those seeking mental health support.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine clients' mental health status and any relevant medical conditions affecting their well-being.
• Develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, utilizing evidence-based methods tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating an engaging therapeutic experience that encourages patient growth and progress.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care, ensuring that treatment plans are effectively communicated and implemented.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and stabilization.
• Educate patients on the connections between mental health and physical health, empowering them with skills to manage their conditions.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary care planning to enhance collaborative treatment efforts.
• Stay current with research, best practices, and advancements in integrated care approaches.

The therapist in this role will primarily serve individuals with complex mental health needs who often present with co-occurring medical issues. By addressing both psychiatric and physiological challenges, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the overall health and well-being of our patients.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Experience providing mental health services to individuals with co-occurring medical conditions is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and standard computer applications is essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience with telehealth services and remote patient engagement is a plus.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to integrated care.

The licensed therapist role at El Centro offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a fixed salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
