Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Analyst for a remote temp-to-hire opportunity supporting HR operations for a team based in Carrollton, TX. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working with data, compliance, reporting, HR systems, audits, and cross-functional project coordination.
The HR Analyst will help maintain accurate employee and recruiting records, prepare workforce reports, support audit-ready documentation, and assist with federal contractor compliance activities. Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, audit, and maintain employee, recruiting, and organizational data in HR systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc HR reports related to workforce demographics, turnover, hiring, employee changes, and compliance activity.
- Coordinate HR projects by tracking milestones, deliverables, action items, deadlines, documentation, and stakeholder follow-up.
- Support HR compliance programs, internal audits, recordkeeping, document management, and retention requirements.
- Assist with federal contractor compliance activities, including applicant tracking, data collection, Affirmative Action Plan support, EEO-1, VETS-4212, ADA, and veteran-related reporting.
- Support HR systems, process improvement initiatives, testing, training documentation, and rollout activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 to $30 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.

- Candidates must be available to work Central or Mountain time zone hours.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Maintain accurate HR data, records, reporting, and compliance documentation across HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Support federal contractor compliance activities, audits, applicant tracking, reporting, and Affirmative Action Plan preparation.
- Coordinate HR projects, system updates, process improvements, and cross-functional communication with HR leaders and stakeholders.
- Review HR data, laws, compliance requirements, and audit findings to help ensure HR processes are accurate and compliant.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HR Administration, HR Compliance, Recruiting Operations, Project Coordination, or a related role.
- Experience supporting HR activities within a federal contractor environment.
- Experience reviewing laws, HR data, compliance processes, audits, or regulatory requirements.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivot tables.
- Experience maintaining databases, records, HR systems, or compliance documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational, administrative, data entry, auditing, and project coordination skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work with HR team members, managers, employees, and HR leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items in a fast-paced HR environment.
- Experience using Monday.com or similar project tracking tools.
- Ability to support ADA, veteran-related work, and Affirmative Action Plan activities.
- HR certification is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting compliance reporting, affirmative action activities, employment-related audits, or federal contractor reporting.
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar systems.
- FedRAMP experience or experience supporting recruiting or compliance in a FedRAMP-related environment.
- Change management experience and the ability to influence stakeholders during process or system updates.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus, but not required.
