Work Environment

As a remote-based Mental Health Counselor, you will operate primarily from your home office, engaging with clients through teletherapy while also having the flexibility to visit our outpatient office as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients’ mental health concerns.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and align with clients' personal goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions that utilize varying therapeutic modalities suited to each client's specific needs.
• Offer teletherapy services, ensuring access for clients who may experience barriers to traditional office visits.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and workshops, enhancing clinical skills and staying updated with the latest practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will span diverse backgrounds and challenges, including but not limited to those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions. By offering personalized and empathetic care, you will help them in their journeys toward recovery, resilience, and improved mental health. Our practice emphasizes a client-centric approach, prioritizing the individual experiences and cultural contexts of each patient.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license to practice in the state as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential.
• A Master’s degree or a Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for creating strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude in client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in private practice, outpatient settings, or teletherapy is a plus.

• Engagement in specialized training or certifications such as trauma-informed care or CBT can enhance your application.
