Key Responsibilities
  • Implement mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) tailored to clients' specific needs, fostering stress reduction and emotional regulation.
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses, identifying stressors and personal goals to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide guidance on mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing practices that empower clients to enhance self-awareness and cultivate emotional resilience.
  • Design and facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and building resilience within a supportive community setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the integration of mindfulness practices into comprehensive treatment plans, enhancing overall client care.
  • Maintain precise documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health care regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. The therapeutic approaches will be designed to meet clients where they are, empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Your role will play a pivotal part in helping clients cultivate mindfulness, improve emotional regulation, and develop constructive coping mechanisms in their daily lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
