About the jobย ย 

The Healthcare Sales team is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and grow a team of Account Executives supporting our Healthcare Payer and Provider customers. Our team sits at the intersection of advanced analytics and one of the most complex, high-stakes industries in the world โ€” helping health plans, hospitals, and health systems make smarter, faster decisions with their data.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team selling SAS solutions where the stakes are real โ€” reducing fraud, improving patient outcomes, and enabling value-based care. As a Sales Manager, Healthcare you will:ย 

  • Be responsible for achievement of total software revenue target and management business objectives (MBOs).
  • Plan and implement growth plans for software, consulting services, and education services.
  • Direct management of sales and sales support activities for staff members to implement growth plans and sales activities.
  • Generate new business through strategic-based selling and managing relationships with key customers.
  • Be responsible for hiring, directing, and evaluating staff.
  • Work in conjunction with the Strategic Pricing Group to negotiate contracts and bids.
  • Formulate business plan to support the business development process.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting (PTG) of software, consulting services, and education services.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software sales, including 2 years in a leadership role.ย 
  • Demonstrated proven record of complex solution selling.
  • Prove ability to manage, negotiate, and close multiple complex sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques and principles, specifically in the hardware and software industry, as well as selling to Fortune 500 companies and/or large governmental institutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, interpersonal and oral communication skills; demonstrated project leadership skills.
  • Ability to work and learn independently; demonstrated ability to interact productively with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to travel, up to 25%
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.ย
