About the role:
ย 
As a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst for Accompany Health you will be:
  • A mission-critical, early part of our growing finance team (and company)
  • Help to build the data assets, processes and models that will provide insight into the companyโ€™s medical expense and risk adjustment performance
  • Collaborate with our highly talented product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams that come from a variety of backgrounds
ย 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Demonstrate mastery of SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) to efficiently derive complex datasets and dashboards
  • Serve as the Sr Data Analyst for the monthly enterprise reporting process.ย  This will include taking a leading role reviewing reporting domains such as patient engagement, HEDIS, CMS HCC compliance and additional as necessary
  • Support the financial and operational team to understand business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop, implement and maintain consistent process for data quality controls to ensure data integrity and make recommendations to improve data integrity
  • Conduct analytics and reporting using data from payer claims, CMS files, electronic medical records, and other sources to deliver actionableย  insights to variousย  teams
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests for stakeholders
  • Work directly with product and Engineering teams to define data requirements for payer data ingestion and data warehousing
  • Maintain clean and well-documentedย  code
  • Work with team-members to develop and continuously improve best practices
  • Mentor others

Desired skills and experience:
Required:
  • 4+ years experience in healthcare data analytics or healthcare economics
  • 4+ years experience with analytic and modeling tools and software (SAS, SQL, Python, R, etc)
  • Demonstrated understanding of key managed care concepts such as Risk Adjustment, Provider Capitation, Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGโ€™s), Ambulatory Patient Groups (APFโ€™s), etc
  • Ability to review new datasets for accuracy and consult with key stakeholders to contextualize data inconsistencies and the resulting impact to reporting and measurement design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:ย 
  • Experience working with government healthcare programs such as Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid
  • Familiarity with value-based careย 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Looker) is a plus
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$135,000 + equity + benefits.ย Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.ย Our talent team can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
